CIS 100 Computer Concepts
This is an introductory computer course that has a theory and a practical component. Hardware, software and systems concepts are covered in the theory component. A series of lab sessions on the use of Microsoft Office forms the lab component.

| CIS 485 Computer Networks
In addition to covering such topics as server virtualization and the hosting of servers in the cloud, this practical course is intended to teach the design, installation and maintenance of various servers. The servers include the web server, FTP server, media server, DNS server and DHCP server.

This essential computer communication course for IT majors and for others in the communication field is designed to provide the skills needed for designing, installing and managing communication systems and to function effectively in the emerging cloud computing world.

| Resources Stored in the Cloud
The learning resources for the courses in the form of PowerPoint slides, multimedia modules, class notes etc. are stored in Skydrive for ready access. The multimedi modules stored are of higher quality compared to those hosted on YouTube.
